Leadership Development:

The leadership of an organization influences the overall atmosphere. An Arbinger Survey found that leadership development has the greatest impact on enhancing an organization’s culture. When a leader leads effectively, others will follow. A partial list of key leadership development areas we offer includes communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, change management, mentoring and coaching, feedback, empathy, and innovation. Dr. Wanda is a comprehensive professional who will design a plan, implement it, and follow up on the leader’s progress, whether individually or for the organization. Dr. Wanda is offering a 30-minute consultation to discuss themes, topics, and training formats, including hours of training, half-day sessions, full-day sessions, or 1–2-hour sessions spread over weeks.

Relationships:

Aristotle said, ‘The most important relationship we all can have is the one you have with yourself, and the most important journey you can take is one of self-discovery.’ A healthy relationship with oneself involves cultivating self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-compassion, and self-care. A positive relationship with oneself, developed through self-discovery, can improve your ability to form and maintain healthy relationships with others, both professionally and personally. Dr. Wanda is offering a 30-minute consultation to discuss individual or group sessions designed to enhance self-discovery.

Signature Program:

‘Strutting Your Personal Power’ (women only). The program is designed for women who have faced life circumstances (i.e., abuse, trauma, grief) and found themselves operating below their full potential for flourishing (e.g., lacking self-confidence, healthy boundaries, a voice, social skills, empathy). What is a Coach ?

A general life coach is a professional who partners with a client to help achieve personal and professional goals. A coach guides people in identifying their strengths, overcoming obstacles, and taking focused actions to create accountability for growth. Dr. Wanda is a certified professional leadership and relationship coach who has successfully worked with hundreds of individuals and groups to improve their lives both professionally and personally.

 

Leadership Development: A leadership development coach is a professional, experienced leader who can help individuals achieve their professional goals. Dr. Wanda is a former Senior Executive with an organization that directs over 12,000 employees, of which she was directly responsible for 1,300. She is well-versed in developing professional relationships and building effective teams to achieve a common mission or goal. Under her leadership as a Human Capital Strategist, the organization’s employee engagement advanced for over 6,000 individuals.

 

Relationships: A relationship coach is a professional who can assist in achieving professional or personal goals, either individually or in collaboration with other individuals and/or teams. Dr. Wanda believes in the power of self-discovery. Self-discovery uncovers strengths and weaknesses. Strengths are areas where a person excels, and weaknesses are areas where a person is more likely to falter. Through the discovery of a person’s strengths, a plan can be designed to help them utilize those strengths effectively.

Dr. Wanda Walker,

Dr. Wanda Walker is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the coaching firm, Dr. Wanda Walker, LLC, and the Vice President of Flourishing USA (www.flourishingworkplace.com). Both emphasize an evidence-based approach in identifying and leveraging the strengths of individuals and teams.

Dr. Wanda is an internationally recognized, dynamic, and transformational speaker, a certified leadership and relationship coach, and facilitator. Her diverse experiences and academia have positioned her to impact individuals and groups in for-profit and non-profit institutions.

Dr. Wanda has not only utilized but also modeled her relationship tenets for decades in both the federal government and the private sector. Her leadership, characterized by transparency and authenticity, has led thousands as a Senior Executive and as a Chief Executive Officer. This approach has not only built strong teams but also developed hundreds of leaders.

Dr. Wanda’s law degree has not only enriched her application of relational elements in conflict resolution and mediation but has also saved agencies millions of dollars in lawsuits.

Dr. Wanda’s Master of Divinity, with an emphasis in counseling, has enabled her to successfully design and facilitate inclusive, safe, and respectful teams and women’s groups that create an environment free from judgment. Individuals, teams, and women's groups are coached to set a goal, establish a course of action, assess progress, and achieve their objectives.

Dr. Wanda’s doctorate in strategic leadership, with its emphasis on transformation and change, influenced her understanding that a key anchor is relationships, first with oneself and then with others.

As a domestic abuse survivor, Dr. Wanda has not just learned to thrive herself but also to have a heart to inspire others to do the same. Her personal journey is a testament to her resilience and strength, and she is passionate about sharing her story to empower others. Dr. Wanda's mission is to pour into others, especially women, and she delights in seeing others’ growth to the point where they, in turn, pour into another.
